I wouldn’t want to live in an area with a high incidence of crime. But if you have no choice, then you’d really have to pay a higher insurance premium.

I find it fair for higher premiums for those in high risk areas as insurance companies need to make sure they’re not losing out money too. It’s business, I suppose.

Home owner insurance does not just cover the cost of repairing or replacing your home; If you live in an area that is prone to severely damaging weather or an area that increases the risk of your home being vandalized and your possessions being stolen, your home owner insurance rates are going to be much higher than the rates of people who do not live in those high risk areas.

stocks and bonds are quite scary especially in this times…although it is best to buy when economy is low and stocks and bonds are priced down in the hope that the economy gets better then you earn big time.

this is good as an insurance plan and if you don’t have any yet. However, if you have an insurance plan already and don’t need another one, look for a higher yielding investment instead. Well, it depends if colleger provider have yields good interest to keep up or go higher than the inflation rate. As for the Sure Cash for Kids, this is indeed much better than kiddie savings. And this sounds like a good insurance coverage for your kids.
